Dr. Devan’s Story
Dr. Devan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Right after graduation, she entered feline-only practice. For several years she serviced cats and their guardians in the East-Madison area and became adept in Western feline medicine. When the clinic sold to a corporate entity, she begrudgingly left, but willingly entered the nonprofit sector at the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Milwaukee Campus. A Milwaukee native, Dr. Devan finds servicing her community to be incredibly fulfilling and plans to continue supporting the WHS mission as her primary role.
What Dr. Devan missed most about private practice was working intimately with cats and their people. Sharing information about feline care, navigating undesirable behaviors, supporting chronic disease, and providing end-of-life transitions. Thus, her pursuit of creating Three Treasures Feline Veterinary Services mobile practice began.
Her journey into Eastern (Traditional Chinese) medicine started as a sapling while in veterinary school. She is currently studying and will be veterinary acupuncture certified in February of 2027. Future plans include growing and branching her knowledge into Chinese herbals, chiropractic, and massage therapy.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Devan enjoys gardening, crafting, foraging, and cartomancy (tarot). She also enjoys cozy-gaming, spooky movies, and caring for her three cats and three dogs.
